Last Thursday (2/5), BPS Kalimantan Timur Province carried out an official statistical news release for several indicators, one of which was the development of the inflation value for Kalimantan Timur Province for April 2024.

In April 2024, inflation in Kalimantan Timur Province experienced inflation of 3.21 percent year-on-year (y-o-y). Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by the increase in most expenditure group indices, where the largest increase in the expenditure group index was in the food, beverage and tobacco group at 7.78 percent.
