RICE, MAIZE AND SOYBEAN PRODUCTION (Forecast Number III 2011)

Forecast Number III (ARAM III) of rice production in 2011 is estimated at thousand 565.3 tons of Dry Milled Grain (GKG). Compared to 2010 production, there was a decrease of 23.5 thousand tons (-4.00 percent). The decline in production is expected to occur due to a decrease in harvested area of ​​7.9 thousand hectares (-5.29 percent).

The largest decline in rice production in 2011 is estimated to occur in the districts of Paser, Penajam Paser Utara and Berau.
